HOCKEY.
AVOCA 8 v. HIGH SCHOOL B 2. A match was played on Saturday between the Avoca and New Plymouth High School B at the school grounds, and resulted in a win for Avoea by 8 goals to 2. For the winners goals were shot by Misses Tuohy . (2), Hurley (4),' Whittle and Allen, and for the losers by G. Day and M. Hooker. Mr. Hamlyn wis referee. The match between the Old Girls' Club and Aotea (Stratford) was postponed.
