Reports state that isolated murders of Franco-American soldiers in the occupied German territories are becoming serious. Gangs waylay men and stab them in the back or sandbag them. Drastic action is being adopted to deal with these outrages, which are in maTked contrast with the general German policy, which shows extreme mildness and friendliness, girls especially seeking to fraternise with and demoralise the troops.—Times Service.
