FURTHER RESOLUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, June 19. The Wairarapa branch of the Post an* Telegraph Officers' Association passed a. resolution condemning the'new clessift* cation as very far from satisfactory, and urging that a conference be called M soon as possible. AUCKLAND SAYS DITTO. Auckland, June 19. The Auckland branch discussed the classification list. It was generally admitted that, provided the war bonus was continued, the salary schedules were fairly satisfactory, but, if not, an increase.of 15 per cent, in salaries was absolutely essential. The branch expressed disapproval of the Department failing to grant certain officers increases, holding that, irrespective of a man's capabilities, he w/ls entitled to consideration because of the higher cost of living.
