THE METAL MARKET. Received June 17, 11.5 p.m. London, June 11. Copper.—Spot £79 12s 6d, forward £BO 7a tid. Electrolytic, £B3 10. Lead.— £22 5s and £22 10s. Spelter.—£3o 5s and £3B 15s. Tin.—£23o 12s fid and £232 17s 6d. Silver, 54% d per oz. LONDON WOOL SALES. Received June 17, 11.50 p.m. London, June 14, At the London wool sales 9392 bales were offered and sold. There was a fair attendance, Continental buyers being well represented. There was a fairly representative selection, mostly New Zealand crossbreds, Best merino comb, ings realised from 5 to 10 per cent, advance on the average rates at last London sales. Shabby combings were slightly easier. There was keen competition for carbonizing wool?, fine crossbreds realising prices fully equal to Liverpool rates. Slipes were unchanged. The Braijford market is steady, prices being firm. There is fair inquiry, awaiting tlie result of the London sales.— Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
