WEDDING.
JONES—JONES. A wedding-was solemnised at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. Jones, Kaimata, Inglewood, on Wednesday, June 4, when their second daughter, Miss Agnes R. Jones, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Arthur F. Jones, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Jones, of "Seaview," The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ireland, of Inglewood. Mr. Alfred Jones supported the bridegroom, while Mr. Cyril Jones acted as groomsman. The bridesmaids were the Misses Jean and Ethel Jones, sisters of the bride and bridegroom respectively. Misses Trissie and Ruth Jones looked pretty as flower girls. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked exceedingly pretty in a dress of white silk, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms and carried a lovely bouquet. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a lovely set of furs, and to the bridesmaids lovely gold brooches. The bride's present to the flower girls also consisted of brooches. The present were numerous and valuable. A reception, to which justice was done, was held at the residence of the bride's parents, when the usual toasts were honored. Mr. and Mrs. Jones left by motor car during the afternoon amid showers of rice and confetti, their future home being at Wanganui.
