Bedford, for Mr Gideon Pott, recently returned from the front, who has been appointed to the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, Thames. Kawaroa Park makes a charming scene for a dance, with its broad piazza and delightful surroundings, and one can only hope that this will lead to many more donees being held there. The floor was perfect and the music by Miss and Mr R. George just made one long to dance. The super table was sweetly decorated with wattle and African marigolds, and the table was ladened with all sorts of delicacies. Afternon tea. —Last Friday Mrs J- C.
