LIVE STOCK MARKETS. ADDINGTON. Chrlstcliurch,. June 11. At- Addingtoni market then were fair yardlugs of stores. Prices generally for all classes of sheep and prime cattle vera firmer, and there was a better demand for store sheep and for store pigs. There was fair Inquiry for dairy cows, hut the quality of the best was only medium. Store pigs sold better. Vealora were -easier owing to there being a. large entry of large calves. Store Sheep;— Two-tooth ewes to 24s Id: two and four-tooth ewes, 22s 9d; four and sixtooth ewes, I3s 6d to 27s 103; four, Bix and eight-tooth ewes, 14s 9d to 28s; sound and fail-Ing-raouth ewes, 17s 6d to 19s 8d; two-tooth; wethers, 21s to 24s Id; two and four-tooth weithers, 19s 9d to 25s 9d; four and Bix-tooth wethers, 22s lOd to 255; six-tooth wethers, 27s ;8d; ewe lambs, 16s to 22s 3d; wether lambs, '123 to 13s (kli; mixed sex lambs, lis Id to 'l9s. BURNSnm Duuedin,. June 1L There; was a small yarding of cattle at Burnildo to-day, 173 being penned. The sale opened with prices equal to last week's rates, but values gradually receded; and towards the end business was difficult at a considerable reduction. Best prime cins» to £22 103; prime, £lB 10s to £2O; medium, £lB to £l9; best prime heavy cows and heifers, £18; prime. £l4medium, £ll 10s to £l3 10s; others, £9 10s. There was an exceptionally big yarding of sheep, 3116 being penned. The congestion at the local freezing works having been relieved, exporters were in the market, and kept values steady. Prices for best heavy wethers' were about th same as last week. All other classes advanced about Is. Extra prime heavy wethers. 171s; prime heavy, 503 to 573 6d; prime, 43s to 118s: medium, 37s Od to 22s 6d; light and unI finished, 27s upwards; extra prime heavy ewes, 465; prime heavy, 37s 6d to 40s: prime, 32s 6d [to 355; medium, 26s to 30s; others, 21s upwards. Two thousand one hundred and ten lambs were penned, exporters bidding keenly for all. lambs flt for freezing, and a good sale lat improved values resulted. Extra prime huavyy 495; prime, 27s to 80s; medium, 255; I others, 27s 6d upwards.
