SECRET CLAUSES OF PEACE TREATY. HOW THEY WERE DISCLOSED. By Telegraph.—Press ton.—Copyright. Washington, June 9. In connection with Senator Root's charges that financial magnates got the secret clauses of the peace treaty the Senate investigation disclosed that copies of the peace terms with Germany were brought to the United States by an American correspondent, Mr. Borah, who presented a copy to the Senate, and Messrs J. P. Morgan, Schieff, Vanderiip, and other New York millionaires. He will be summoned as a witness with a view to discovering whether financial interests are benefiting by the knowledge of the details of the treaty.
