A MOTOR ACCIDENT.
EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST.

An inquest was held by Mr. S. E. McCarthy, coroner, into the death of Samuel Donald Drabble, aged 20, who died at the hospital yesterday from injuries received through colliding with a motor car, driven by Amy Florence Hadfield on Friday evening. The evidence disclosed that deceased, who was riding a motor cycle, approached a street intersection at the same time as Mrs. Hadfield. The latter swerved her car to avoid collision, but without success, deceased hitting it and striking a telegraph pole. The cause of death was hemorrhage and laceration of the brain, caused by fracture of the skull, A verdict was returned to that effect, and that the evidence did not disclose negligence on the part cither of deceased or Mrs. Hadfield. .
