The New York Times' despatches from Winnipeg state that the strike is not yet settled. All industry is paralysed, and the distribution of food continues only by permission of the strikers. Other despatches state that the trade unions at Edmonton, Calgary, and Regina have also voted for a general strike. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
