CALIFORNIA TO HAWAII. PROPOSED AIRPLANE FLIGHT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received June 9, 5.5 p.m. New York, May 30. The New York Times' Los Angeles correspondent states that authentic reports say that United States army and navy officers are planning to attempt an airplane flight from California to Hawaii. Probably the flight will be in three stages.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. PASSENGERS BY R34. London, June 7. General Pershing is making a request to participate in the Atlantic flight of R34, which is expected to start frrfi East Fortune aerodrome, near Edinburgh, about the 14th. The entire crew is composed of officers, who are confident of a successful voyage. It is probable that Generals Seely and Maitland will accompany the vessel.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
