WEDDING.
At the residence of the Rev. J. Oliver, Palmerston North, Bertha, seventh daughter of the Rev. and Mr. J. Oliver, was married to Mr. G. M. Thomson, of Stratford. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Ashcroft, of Palmerston, assisted by the bride's father, who also gave her away. The bride wore a navy tailor-made costume, with black panne liat. The bridesmaid, Miss Merle Print, of Bunnythorpe, wore a frock of powder blue silk and a Mack hat lined with pale blue velvet. The bridegroom, a returned soldier, was attended by Mr. 0. Badeley, of Auckland. The bride's bouquet consisted of white chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. The bridegroom'*,' present to the bride was a handsome gold wristlet watch, and a gold circle brooch to the bridesmaid. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a gold-mounted watchguard. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Thomson left for the North on their honeymoon.
