'.A teries of bomb explosions are* reported in Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Patersou, New York, and Newtoaville (Massachussets). The outrages are attributed to Bolshevik influences. Most of the attempts were made at the residences of Government and Municipal officials.

One bomb was thrown at the front of the house of United States AttorneyGeneral Palmer's home, and blew in the front of the house. Palmer's wife and family were at home when the-explosion occurred, and all escaped injury. Some bystanders were killed. The poliee found the limbs of an unidentified mail in the street in front of the residence.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Aasn.
