MORE SEAMEN LEAVING. ' By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Juno 3. The crews of the Union Company's Whakatipu and Karitane have given 24 hours' notice. It is anticipated that when the Manuka and Moeraki arrive the crews will act similarly. A mass meeting of seamen passed a resolution against the ballot. SEAMEN IGNORE THE BALLOT. Received June 3, 9.55 p.m. Melbourne, June 3. Seamen are ignoring the ballot, the result -whereof will be announced on Thursday, when the enforcement of the coal restrictions will cause a number of factories to close.
