NAPIER'S WEEK-END RECORD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier. June 2. Napier had a chapter of motor accidents during the week-end. Dennis Crowley, a reddent of Clive for over 40 years, was knocked down and killed by a ear at Clive while he was crossing the road. He became confused on the approach of a car driven from Hastings to Napier with a hjad of hockey players. An inquest was opened and adjourned till Saturday evening. William James Munro, a clerk in Niven's, way found Unconscious on the Napier Terrace, having been run over by a car, which had driven off leaving Munro lying on the road. He was taken to the hospital, where a slight improvement in his condition is reported. The driver of the car has not been discovered. A car proceeding to Hastings on Saturday night after the theatre was overturned at Waitangi. No one was injured. On Sunday two cars collided at the hospital gates.'. No one was injured.
