FRIENDLY TO JAPAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, May 16. The Tokio correspondent of the New York Sun reports that the Foreign Minister, Uchida, made a statement that Japan will keep her word and will return Shantung to China and that all arrangements made to promote the mutual benefit of the two nations wili be loyally observed.
