Cynic and Garry Owen were together, two lengths; in front of Master Lupin, with Ditto fourth and Keystone well back. This was the fastest round. The light weights ridin" Monopole and Peneton led Otara over the same distance, but the last-named finished well m a useful bout. Bore and Grafton Tot jumped the water, the stone wall, and the brush fence. Sir Fisher, who iy sore, was an absentee from the tracks.
