ANNUAL MEETING, i By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 29. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Company tlie report stated that the cost of the works was estimated at , £215,000, accounted for by the decreased purchasing power of the sovereign and the increased cost of materials. The balance-sheet to March ;il showed £17,544 for which there was no visible asset. This expenditure covered 3A years, and was generally accounted for by preliminary , expenses , and brokerage. Generally speaking, affairs were move satisfactory than anticipated by some shareholders. : Dissatisfaction was expressed by soutliiern delegates that the southern districts were not represented on the directorate. Tlie explanation given was that this would mean an alteration in the articles of association. The directors were quite willing to make such provision as soon as. possible. The report and balancesheet were adopted, and a cordial vote of thanks wft« accorded to the directors For the manner in which they had conducted the business of the company.
