The . annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand way hold in Cbristchurch to-day, the Grand Master (the Hon. Mr. Justice Herd man) presiding. The! 1 financial reports showed tlie cash balances to the credit of the several funds to be £SGGS. The reports; of various boards were adopted. To-night in the Coll.oseum, the Hon. Mr. Justice Herdman was reinstated as Grand Master, and the officers invested Mr. T. R. S. Milroy (Auckland) an Deputy Grand Master for the year.

Stylew (Nelson and Marlborough), A. B. Haggitt (Southland), R. S. Chadwick (Hawke's Bay), R. W. Sargent (Taranaki), D. J. McFarlane (Ruapehu); senior grand warden, R. Scott (Otago); ,iunior grand warden, T. Morgan (Hawke's Bay); grand secretary; M. Nicol; grand treasurer, J. T. King; grand registrar, C. A. Nielsen; president of the board of general purposes, H. N. Seatou, all of Wellington, where the ftrand secretary's; office is at present.
