Allahabad, May 24, Tho Afghan armistice delegation was detained at Peshawar as a precautionary measure, with the exception of the chief envoy, who was conducted back across the frontier with a message that the Amir must prove his sincerity by action. The latest advices from India state that the situation on the north-west frontier is unchanged, except on the ICurram border, where the Afghans' attitude is threatening.
