THE INDUSTRIES COMMITTEE.
MANUFACTURE OF BUTTER BOXES.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
Mr. Cuddie, director of the dairy division, giving his opinion on a cylindrical butter package submitted to the committee, said there were strong reasons for keeping the present box, -which was known on the Home market as the New Zealand package. He submitted a design in two-ply for making an oblong box, similar in appearance to the present box. A trial shipment with this box is being made, and a similar trial might be made of the cylindrical package.
