THE ANZACS.

CELEBRATIONS IN SYDNEY. Received May 23, 9.25 p.m. Sydnej, May 23. The city is decorated for Anzac Day. Great crowds watched the procession of returned soldiers, headed by men from the warships which arrived yesterday, to the Town Hall, where a solemn commemorative service was held.

The Governor-General presented the medals won by a large number of soldiers.

Speeches were delivered eulogising the work of the Australians and New Zealanders on Gallipoli.
