Berlm, May 12. There is great Unrest in the eastern German districts which the treaty assigns to Poland. Mass demonstrations indicate that all classes, including the Independent Socialists, are preparing far armed resistance to the Poles—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. GOVERNMENT TROOPS OCCUPY LEIPZIG. Berlin, May 12. Government troops have occupied Leipzig. They hold all the principal buildings. Martial law ha 9 bpen proclaimed and the Spartaeus newspapers have been suppressed. Herr Noske's occupation of Leipzig- was a most complete surprise, and the Spnrtacists were unable to resist. The Spartacist leaders were arrested. Serious disturbances are expected owing to the threat of the Workmen's Council of a general strike. The wildest excitement prevails.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc-
