The result of the" watersidefs' ballot on the new offer made by the employers of waterside labor will' not be known until next week. Tt is understood that the balance of opinion among the Waterside delegates is in favor of the acceptance of the offer. If this view prevails, the trouble that has been threatening 8n the wharves will be averted_ If the offer is rejected, it is the intention of the employers to refuse any further concession. They consider they have made the best 6ffer possible.
