INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
DOMINION : FIGURES FOR FOUR DAYS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch. Last Night. The Hon. <i. W. Russell to-night supplied the following influenza figures for the period May "8 to 12: Total for Dominion, 51 cases, made up as follows: Auckland district 17, of which 4 in Auckland City are severe and also one in Whakatane; Wellington district 12, of which two at Waipawa are severe and one in Wellington City; Nelson district 3 (all mild); North Canterbury 14 mild and 3 pneumonic; South Canterbury 4r mild and 2 severe; West CoastBulier Hospital District 2 mild; Otago 2 mild and 1 severe.
THE NEW ZEALAND FIGURES. Wellington, Last Night. Between; May 8 and 12, 18 eases of influenza were reported in the Wellington Health District.
