Humphries returned yesterday morning from a visit to Auckland. • • # • Mrs. Bennett, of Blenheim, who has been spending a week or two in New Plymouth, has returned. Visitors at Chatsworth House include Mrs. Robb (Gisborne), Mrs. Eggleton (Kaponga), Mrs. Gilbert (Hurford), Miss Swayne (Palmerston North), Mrs. Izard (Wanganui). • * * • A dance took place last Thursday at the East End Pavilion, arranged by Messrs.
