GOLF.

The first of the New Plymouth Golf Club's Saturday matches, a bogey competition, was played last, week, and won liy Mr. A. Bew'.ev with three down.

To-day a bogey match will be played and on Saturday next a St. Andrew's Cross match.

On Thursday, the 15th inst. the local players will visit the Inglewood Club lo play the first interclub match. Intending players are requested to hand in their names to the secretary as early as possible.
