CAPTURE OF MUNICH, 850 CASUALTIES. Received May 7, 1 a.m. Copenhagen, May 4. A hundred and fifty were killed, live hundred wounded, and five thousand arrested during and after the capture of Munich. Lcvien escaped in an aeroplane, but was arrested after landing, and taken to Hamburg—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. TIGHTENING THE CORDON. CRUSHING THE SPARTACISTS. Received May 0, S p.m. Copenhagen, May 2. Government troops are tightening the cordon around Munich, refraining from artillery fire and endeavoring to crush the Spartacists at close quarters. The Spartacists wirelessed appealing for relief, as food stocks were exhausted. Bands of robbers are plundering the banks and houses. General Hoffman declined the Spartacist offer to cease hostilities provided he did not enter Munich. General Hoffman demanded unconditional surrender, as resistance was useless.—*Vus. "SZ.
