CONSTANCE TALMADGE IN "MISS liEFFTNGWELL'S BOOTS." The comedy-drama "Mrs Leßßngwell's Boots," starring Miss Constance Talmadge, is receiving an enthusiastic reception at Everybody's Theatre. The neat turns of plot and light-hearted fun of the picture fits Constance Talraadge as snugly as does the character of the charming star herself. The manner in which the husband is made to believe that a male friend purchased the shoes in which she is dancing at a ball is very clever, and has a most humorous sequel. Fine supporting films are on the same programme. TO-MORROW. "THE HOUSE OF HATE." The first episode of the new Pathe wonder serial "The House of Hate," commences to-morrow night. Antonio Moreno and Pearl White are the stars in this picture which is certain to prove immensely popular. THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF DOUG. FAIRBANKS. Douglas Fairbanks in his great success 599, and for 1918 £15,120,289, an inat the People's. This is a virile picture of the typical Fairbanks productions, and abounds in humor as well as "stunts" and fights. To-morrow Vivian Martin commences in her latest Paramount production "The Trouble Buster," a story of the city streets, of the romance that beats close to their cold pavements, of love, pluck, and thrills. "THE EAGLE'S EYE" SATURDAY. The great serial picture "The Eagle's Eye," written by William J. Flynn, late chief of the U.S. Secret Police, commences on Saturday at the matinee.
