RUN OVER BY A MOTOR.

ANOTHER STREET FATALITY. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Christehurch, Last Night. David Henderson Brown, aged «3 yearß, was knocked down by a motor car last night, and died in hospital early this morning. At the inquest the evidence of the driver of the car (C. Barnett) and the occupants thereof went to show that deceased was encountered suddenly in the middle of the road, and, though everything possible was done to avoid him, one of the headlights struck him, and threw him on to the bonnet of the car, from which he fell on the road. The car was travelling at from 12 to lp miles an hour. The inquest was adjourned to enable a post-mortem to be held.
