THE EX-KAISER.
TO BE TRIED ON CRIMINAL CHARGE. Received April 30, 5.5 p.m. London, April 29. The Evening Standard has the fullest authority for stating that the Kaiser will be tried on an ordinary criminal charge,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Asan. Received! April 30, 8 p.m. , Paris, April 29. The tribunal appointed to try the Kaiser will assume that the Kaiser has a right of defence. The Allies and America will request Holland to hand the Kaiser over for trial. Other war criminals will be tried by military courts —Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. London, April 29. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Telegraph states that the conference haS decided to demand the ex-Kaiser's extradition from Holland in order to undergo trial before a tribunal of five judges appointed by the five great Powera, and that the Kaiser be charged with a supreme offence against international morality and the sacredness of treaties.—Aus.-N.Z.
