VISCOUNT FRENCH'S ; NEW BOOK. THE 1914 FIGHTING,

London, April 28. The Daily Telegraph has commenced the publication of Viscount French's book, entitled "1014." It deals with the utmost candor with his relations with Lord Kitchener during the Mons retreat and the shortage of ammunition and reinforcements early in 1915. Marshal Foch contributes a preface dealing with the German nishes for the sea-ports, and shows the immense importance of the battles for Ypres.
