ATTACK ON MUNICH. SANGUINARY. BATTI4E EXPECTED, Received April 28, 2.40 p.m. Berne, April 27. The Bavarian people's army, estimated at 35,000, is attacking Munich. Rapid enlistment continues. The outpost fighting shows bhat the Soviets are plentifully supplied with artillery and ammunition. A sanguinary battle is expected when the main attacking force closes in.—Times Service. It is reported that the Spartacist soldiera dragged from tho hospital and killed Archovalley, who assassinated Herr Eiencr. Thereupon Herr Aver, exMinister for the Interior, and Herr Roshauptes, ex-Minister for War, who were wounded in the Diet at the time Eisner was killed, fled to the hospital owing to their lives being threatened.— Aus, N.Z. Some say that Italy finds it made a mistake in deserting the German Alliance, others that Italy is being victimised for the benefit from the Entente disunion, France and Britain get a largo share legardless of them. The papers hope that Germany will benefit from the Entente disunion, others consider that the decisions already reached will be revised. Some of the press comments arc exceedingly bitter and accuse the Allies, especially England, of securing her own interests in Asia, the Pacific and Africa regardless of the fourteen points, while insisting on their obervance in Italy's case.—Aus.-N.Z.
