ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION.

COMPREHENSIVE ARRANGEMENTS. Received April '27, 11.5 pm. London, April. 25. The projected Antarctic expedition under the leadership of Cope will consist of 08 men. These will divide jnto three parties. Twenty-two will remain in the new harbor, and the second and third parties on Scott Island, which is within the Antarctic circle, and on Ross Island, forming a gateway to the .Ross Sea. After landing these parties the Terra Nova returns to Wellington and loads provisions sufficient for four years. She leaves Wellington in the summer of )!U1 and visits the three parties. After that the Terra Nova circumnavigates the southern continent, attempting to reach Cape (namo not cabled), and in the winter of 1922 will proceed along the known coastlines. Tn the following summer the ship will attempt to visit Coats' Land, where sdie may lie compelled to winter, instead of the South Shetland*, not attempting to cross the Weddell Sea.
