CHINA'S CLAIMS. Received April 24, 130 p.m. % New York, April 22. • The New York Times' Paris correspondent interviewed President Wilson on thei.subject of China's claims to Kiaochau and Shantung, President Wilson said it would be better for the world and for China if the questions could be settled entirely by the Asiatiqs themselves, the questions being purely Asiatic. The correspondent adds that it is possible President Wilson will consider by what means, after giving sufficient guarantees, Japan would be allowed to adjust matters herself In such a way as to satisfy the .
