BOWLING.

Three rinks from Inglewood visited Waitara on Easter Monday, and played two games during the day. In the morning the Inglewood rinks were well skipped by Messrs Spurdle, Leslie, and Allen, and in the afternoon by Rolston Codd, and Olsen. Both bouts were won by the Inglewood team, who also appreciated the hospitality of the home team. A team of Inglewood colts put up n big game against die holders for the Leslie bowls. On the twenty-fourth head the totals were 19 all, the final head going against the challengers by 1 point, the teams were:— Colts: Martin, Olson, Longbottom, Darbow (s); holders: Leslie, Geddes, McLaggan, Rolston (s). At Stratford, the club's sealed handicap ended in a popular win for R. M. Peattie, with J. Butcher securing second honors.
