SOME IMPORTANT MATTERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Board of Agriculture now sitting in Welington was addressed by the Minister of Agriculture on several matters on the agenda paper. These matters include measures to be taken regarding cattle tick, shipping, farming instruction, marking and branding schemes, and the disposition of property bequeathed by Josiah Howard for agricultural education. The Minister said that the cattle tick question had been investigated by the veterinary section of the Agricultural Department, and the Department bad decided that it would bp necessary to have some drastic regulations to control the movements from areas where the tick was found.
