The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegrams from their London house under date 3rd and 12th insts— The sale by auction of Government wool opened yesterday with & gpod demand. Greasy crossbred fine averaged 2s 4d to 2s lGd, medium 2s Id to 2l fid, and coarse Is lOd to 2s 3d. The wool sales have closed with the market active. Greasy crossbred fine averaged 2s 3d to 3s 6d, medium Is lOd to 2s lOd, coarse Is 6d to 2s 4d.
