This means j u can buy a serviceable commercial vehicle of one ton carrying capacity and which embodies the desirable qualities of Ford sturdy construction and low upkeep expense. The Ford Truck frame is built of heavy steel and is designed to carry one ton. The wheel base has been lengthened to 184 inches. A worm-drive rear axle system is used geared down sufficiently to provide amplo power for transporting a one-ton load at moderate speed.
