T.R.U, MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, A meeting of the management committee of the Taranaki Rugbv Union was held at Stratford on Thursday afternoon, when there were present: Messrs Jas. McLeod (chairman), R. B. Fearon, A Lees, James Garcia, R. Masters (treasurer), and P. Skoglund. (secretary).

It was resolved to call a meeting at Mratford of school teachers throughout Taranaki on Saturday, April 26, to discuss the organisation of school football. The annual meeting was fixed for Mav 1.

It was pointed out that for this season there was a possibility that some of the country clubs might not be able to enter a senior team in the competition, and in order to enable''their representatives to have a voice at the meeting Mr. R. Masters gave notice to move at the annual

meeting that a club nominating a senior team should be entitled to a senior delegate with two votes and a junior delegate with one vote, and if only entering a junior team, to be entitled to a junior delegate with one vote, subject to the acceptance, of the club's entry by the union.

THE POSITION IN NEW PLYMOUTH. There was a very fair attendance of footballers at the meeting in the Soldiers' Club on Wednesday night to conquestion of organising the old clubs and forming new ones. Mr Jas. McLeod presided, and after some discussion it was resolved to convene the annual meetings of both the Star and Tukapa clubs for next Thursday evening when the question will be fully discussed, and, if sufficient inducement offers, both clubs will be formed, and senior teams entered in the competition, but if not, for this season the clubs will be amalgamated, and one team entered in the grade.
