THANKS TO LOCAL TRUSTEES. The New Plymouth Efficiency Board trustees—Messrs T. Furlong (chairman), E. Whittle, and F. J. Hill (secretary)— haffe each received a copy of the following letter from Mr. Thomas Moss, district commissioner for Wellington on the National Efficiency Board, in connection with services during the war period:—"lt is now about two years since you were asked to assist your country in overcoming the difficulties which confronted it in selecting, our young men from farming and from the industries, to enable them to fight an unscrupulous enemy, and at the same time to maintain our production Many have made great sacrifices, and yet there has been little complaining, and this, to a large extent; is due to the patriotic and generous manner in which the, trustees have worked?,to overcome thfr: difficulties met. with, Mr. Ferguson (chairman) has written expressing the board's appreciation of the work done ■ by"th' 6 'trustees, "btit"]"T6rmot let this opportunity slip -mthout-conveying" my own sincere personal thanks to you for the assistance rendered to me as commissioner in- carrying out m» administrate duties,as,. „■without, 'that.help, my efforts would have been futile.
