HON. W. D. S. MACDONALD.
VISIT TO NEW PLYMOUTH. The Hon. W. D. S. Maedonald, Minister of Agriculture, Mines, etc., who arrived in New Plymouth yesterday, will be engaged to-day in various 'departmental matters. At 9 a.m. he will visit several farming districts, and at 11 o'clock he will inspect the Smart Road Freezing Works. At 12 noon the Minister will receive a deputation from the New Plymouth Tourist and Expansion League. At 2 p.m. representatives of the dairying industry will wait upon the Minister iu relation to the butter business. Following this the Minister will visit tlio ironsand works and the petroleum wells. Should business be completed the Minister will leave New Plymouth about 6 p.m. by motor for Wanganui.
