Regarding criticism of the failure of the Entente diplomacy in 1915 to enlist Bulgaria on the side of the Entente, the publication of the secret treaty between Austria and Bulgaria, which was signed in September, 1915, shows that they mutually agreed not to enter into any alliance against each other..
