The New Zealanders have booked passages from Vancouver on June 21. —Ufitted Service. Mr S. G. Smith, M.P., was yesterday advised by the Hon. W. D,' S MacDonald that he proposed reaching New Plymouth by motor on Sunday morning, and leaving by Tuesday morning's express for Wellington.

Mr W. Murray, Uruti, Ims received word that his son, Gunner Geo. W Murray, who left with the 9th Reinforcement, is returning to New Zealand by the Malieno which is expected to. reach Wellington on April 20th.

Mrs A- Rosa received word yesterday t-liat her eldest son, W. A. Ross; of tin; 2nd Reinforcements, is returning: to New Zealand with "Draft No. 237 on 1!.. M.5. lonic, due to arrive at Auckland on or about April 23 Mr. H. McAtlum, the advertising manager of the D.1.C., Wellington, has been offered and has; accepted the position of advertising director for Messrs Hallenstein Bros., Dunedin. He will control the publicity of this firm's thirty-three branches, with headquarters at Dunedin. Mr. MeAllum has been for a number of years with the D.1.C., and will carry with him the good wishes of many friends when he leaves for liis new sphere of activity Mr. MeAllum used to be in business at Waitara.
