AN OFFER TO SOLDIERS.

(From Our Own Correspondent) Wellington, April 8. "At a meeting in the Town Hall tonight Mr YV. D. Hunt, the president of the National Efficiency League, made an offer to the returned soldiers who have been disfranchised owing to failure to secure enrolment. He said that he would provide a pair for any returned man who was olf the roll and who wished to vote fbr continuance, provided that the trade do the same for any returned man who wished to vote for prohibition. This arrangement would give the disfranchised men an effective vote on Thursday.
