AUCKLAND TROTTING MEETING. By Tilegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night.

The Trotting Club's summer meeting concluded in glorious weather, and before a very large attendance. The track was in perfect condition. Cathedral Chimes attempted to lower the Australasian record of 4min 22 4-ssec, but failed by 3sec. The tote handled £26,710 10s, making £54,673 10s for the meeting.

BABN TROT. —5 Rosecray (Bryce) 1, 2 Tiki 2, 8 My Junior 3. Also started: 9 Normica Heir, 1 Wild Lad, 14 Timbell, 7 Miss Murphy, 6 Sandy Patch, 3 Gold Hod, 10 Rita Galindo, 13 Sweet Memory, 11 Polar Star, 4 Speculator, 12 Amberite.
