AUCKLAND TROTTING MEETING. By Tilegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night.
The Trotting Club's summer meeting concluded in glorious weather, and before a very large attendance. The track was in perfect condition. Cathedral Chimes attempted to lower the Australasian record of 4min 22 4-ssec, but failed by 3sec. The tote handled £26,710 10s, making £54,673 10s for the meeting.
BABN TROT. —5 Rosecray (Bryce) 1, 2 Tiki 2, 8 My Junior 3. Also started: 9 Normica Heir, 1 Wild Lad, 14 Timbell, 7 Miss Murphy, 6 Sandy Patch, 3 Gold Hod, 10 Rita Galindo, 13 Sweet Memory, 11 Polar Star, 4 Speculator, 12 Amberite. Won by two lengths, a neck between the second and third. Time, 3miu 50sec.
MANUKAU HANDICAP.—3 Halswell Dillon (Paul) 1, 4 Confusion 2, 1 Dillon 3. Also started: 7 Sweet Mint, 2 Dillon ./ay, 6 Shanna Golden, 5 George K. Won by six lengths, two lengths between the second and third. Time, 3win 35 3-ssec. . PRINCE OF WALIJS HANDICAP.—2 Asturio (Cunningham) 1, 7 Lieutenant 2, fl Alf. Mf Kinney 3. Also started: 4 Harold Devon, 5 Huon Grattan, 1 J'itiaroa and Willie Lincoln (coupled), Waverley. Won by four lengths three lengths between the second and third. Time, 4min 30 4-ssec. Won by two lengths, the same, between the next, Time, 4min 48 3-ssec.
ADAMS MEMORIAL HANDICAP.—4 Wilding (Cunningham) 1,1 Manuka Park 2, 2 lnwood 3. Also started: 7 Prince Child, 3 Lucille, 5 Miss Rolfe, 6 Little Kauri, 4 Prince Poole. Won by two lengths, one length between the second and third. Time, 3min 24 3-ssec.
MEMBERS'. TROT.—4 Hint and 1 Blackthorn (dead heat) 1, 9 Kirikiriroa 3. Also started: 2 Wonderland, 7 Amberite, 5 Syrie, 6 Auckland Girl, 8 Gold Boy, 3 King Capitalist. A great race, Hint just getting up in the last stride, the third horse three lengths away. Times: Blackthorn, 4min 45 3-ssec; Hint, 4min 463-ssec.
LIVERPOOL HANDICAP.—I Trooper Dillon (Cunningham) 1, 4 Alf McKinney 2, 3 lnwood 3. Also started: 6 All Bell, 7 Eccentric, 5 Pitiaroa, 2 Derby Dillon, 8 G<Ai Girl. Won by two lengths, half a length between second and third. Time, 2mm 53 4-ssec.
