WORK AND WAGES.
THE ROSLYN AND GREEN ISLAND TROUBLES. Dunedin, April 9. The employers and employees again conferred to-day in reference- to the Roslyn woollen mills dispute, and the objection of the employers to the appearand of Hon. Paul on behalf of the men was waived owing to the insistence of employees on retaining the Hon. Paul as their advocate, and a made by the employers this evening will be put before the workers to-morrow morning.
The Green Island miners are still idle. It is stated about a month ago the men asked for a conference, and were told there was nothing to confer about as the award was in force,
