TOE WOOL MARKET. STABILISING PRICES. New York, March 27. The Times' Washington correspondent says that at the instance of Senator King, the American representative at Paris will be asked to take up with the Briti&h Government the question of temporarily stabilising wool prices in the allied countries, the purpose being to protest American wool-growers until the present clip is marketed. It is reported that Britain has several billion pounds of wool available for marketing. An agreement will be sought to tivevent its being placed on the market at the one time or in sufficient quantities to depress prices.—Alls, and N.Z. Cable ABsn.
