THE LICENSING POLL.

VOTING BY UNDISCHARGED SOLDIERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. Official.—As there is some misapprehension regarding the right of undischarged soldiers to vote in the licensing poll, a suggestion having been made that a special permit is needed, Base Records points out that no other document is necessary - except the soldier's status certificate, viz., the certificate on leave with the notice of discharge, or on tick leave, or an in-patient's or out-patient's eertirteate. These will snow that the soldier has not teen discharged and is therefore entitled to exercise the soldier's vote.
