VICTORIA RACING CDUB. Melbourne, April 7The V.R.C. is substituting for the Coburg Stakes the Cantala Handicap, carrying £3OOO. The Sires' Produce Stakes for 1921 have been increased to £2OOO. The stakes for the Grand National meeting in 1019 have been increased by £ 1850- The principal increase is in the National Steeplechase to £2OOO and the National Hurdles to £ISOO. IMPORTANT DISPERSAL SALE. In our auction oolumns appears a notice of importance to horse owners. It refers to the dispersal sale of the Parorangi racing stud at "Almadale," Feilding. Fourteen animals, of the quality that I "Ernie" Short was so noted for, are to come under the hammer, and with the exception of Sonnino (on which there is a slight reserve) they will all go to the highest bidder. The sale takes place on the 23rd instant, and the auctioneers are Dalgety and Co., Palmerston North. Owners should make a point of examining the advertisement for further information. It is a sale that comes only once in a while.
